Description of the service

Dispatch Labs publishes a weekly newsletter and a biweekly podcast covering Kanata and Ottawa's west end, and sells three fixed advertising placements described in full on our Advertise page: the Field Log Newsletter Line, the Ridge & Valley Audio Package, and the Field Season Partnership.

Eligibility and user obligations

You must provide accurate information when booking a placement and have the authority to approve copy and creative on behalf of your business or organization.

Bookings, orders and payments

Placements are booked and paid for in advance of running, at the prices shown on our Advertise page, in Canadian dollars. Booking, creative-deadline and approval details are set out in our advertising terms. See the Payment & Refund Policy below, and the Returns Policy below, for what happens if a booking needs to change.

Intellectual property

The Dispatch Labs name, logo and site content belong to NetChill Media Group Incorporated. Advertiser-supplied logos or copy remain the property of the advertiser.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit misleading claims for a sponsor placement, not to impersonate another party, and not to attempt to interfere with the operation of this website.

Payment & Refund Policy

Scope: this policy covers payments made for the three advertising placements described on our Advertise page.

Eligibility: a refund may be requested if a booked placement has not yet started production (copy or script not yet drafted). Once creative work has begun, refund eligibility follows the cancellation windows described in our advertising terms and cancellation & refunds page.

How to request: email [email protected] or call +1 613-592-5299 with your booking details.

Processing: approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-refundable cases: placements that have already run in full, and partnership months that have already been delivered, are not refundable.

Returns Policy

How to cancel: email [email protected] or call +1 613-592-5299 within our working hours (Monday – Friday, 09:30–18:00).

Returns windows: cancelling before creative work begins is free; cancelling after copy or a script has been drafted may be subject to the fees described in our advertising terms.

Rescheduling: where possible we offer a rescheduled slot as an alternative to a full cancellation.

Returnss by us: if we are unable to deliver a booked placement due to circumstances beyond our control, we offer a full refund or a rebooking at your choice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time; the date at the top of the page shows the last revision.
